Why is Alpina@Work continuing as ZekerArbo?

During 2025, Alpina@Work became part of Colbe (the new name of Zorg van de Zaak Network), thus merging with ZekerArbo. Within Colbe, ZekerArbo is the Occupational Health Service for SMEs.

Why do I have to sign a new agreement and subscription as a customer?

This is necessary so that you officially become a customer of ZekerArbo and make use of our products and services. In this way, the absenteeism supervision of current files continues as usual, without interruption.

Is ZekerArbo similar to Alpina@Work?

Just like Alpina@Work, ZekerArbo is certified to perform occupational health and safety services and is Gatekeeper-proof for absenteeism. ZekerArbo has a national network of offices and is therefore always near you and your employees. On top of that, ZekerArbo has all arbo expertise in-house.

At Alpina@Work, the case manager was my regular contact. What about at ZekerArbo?

Also at ZekerArbo , you have a regular contact person. At ZekerArbo , this is calledEmployability Coach (IC). The IC has the same educational background as the case manager. The working method does differ. As a professional, the IC plays an important role in guiding employers in Sickness Absence as well as in strengthening employability. Our IC is not there to take over, but to help employers stay in control - practically, involved and with knowledge of the Wet verbetering poortwachter.

What is the Absenteeism Duration Predictor?

The Sickness Absence Duration Predictor is smart software that uses current data, answers from the online survey, absence history and statistics to accurately estimate the duration of a sickness absence. This allows us to immediately plan appropriate follow-up steps and guide Sickness Absence smarter and faster.

Why does ZekerArbo work only with physicians who are employed by them?

Why doesn't my new subscription start until January 1, 2026, but I already receive services from ZekerArbo in December 2025?

We want you to enjoy the benefits of ZekerArbo as your Occupational Health Service as soon as possible. That's why we are switching to our way of working as early as December 1, 2025.

You will still pay Alpina@Work rates for December (2025).

Can I pay per month at ZekerArbo and choose direct debit?

No, at ZekerArbo that is not possible. You pay your subscription in advance per year. Any operations outside the subscription we bill separately, in the month following the operation.

This method prevents errors and disputes about invoices, so it's hassle-free.
