Video calling

Most conversations with our professionals are online. This is convenient for you and for us. It makes our services more flexible and faster. Because not everyone is equally handy with computers, we have collected some tips for you. Please read them beforehand.

Questions you can certainly still have.

What does ZekerArbo do?

ZekerArbo is the Occupational Health Service of the organization where you work.
Together with your employer, we ensure that you remain sustainably employable for your job.
Should you do fall ill, we will help you on the road to sustainable recovery, hassle-free.

What is the modus operandi of ZekerArbo?

When you call in sick, we have a smart tool that we deploy. We work with an The online questionnaire. On day three of your sick call, both you and the employer receive an email with one closed question and six possible answers.

The answer helps us determine what follow-up we will initiate. This may be a telephone contact with the practice support worker occupational physician, or occupational physician.

Why is the occupational health practitioner calling me, I already answered the question, right?

You and your employer may have filled in different answers. To quickly clarify the reason why the answers do not correspond, the company doctor will call you. The conversation the company doctor has with you is called the triage conversation. A simple, quick way to immediately make a good assessment of whether the Sickness Absence is going to be short or long. No long intake, but short and sweet: what is the situation, what is needed? Within 15 minutes we have the right information and know if more help is needed. We keep it nice and simple, so there is no noise about what is happening.

I'm sick, now what?

If you are sick, you must report sick immediately to your employer. The rules for reporting sick are in your employment contract, collective bargaining agreement or absence protocol.

Should I tell my employer the reason for calling in sick?

You don't have to tell the employer what your symptoms are. Your employer may not ask for medical information from you. However, your employer may ask if you are sick because of an industrial accident.

My employer wants me to come to work, now what?

Your employer reviews with you how you can return to your own work. This is called reintegration. Are you unable to return? Then your employer will look for another suitable job within the company. Is this also not successful? Then your employer must look for other work at another company. Together with your employer, you make written agreements about your reintegration. This is called an action plan.

What is a Plan of Action?

You are sick for 8 weeks, then according to the Wet verbetering poortwachter a Plan of Action must be made. The plan is made together with your employer. In the Action Plan agreements are made about what you can still do, the advice of the company doctor can be included.

I do not have a plan of action

This is really something between you and your employer. Ask your employer when you are going to have a conversation together to create a plan of action.
