The Zorg van de Zaak Network becomes Colbe
The Zorg van de Zaak Network becomes Colbe: the European work wellbeing network for sustainable employability of employees. Zorg van de Zaak, the integrated and integral Occupational Health Service, continues to exist within the Colbe network.
As of today, Zorg van de Zaak Network continues under a new name: Colbe. This repositioning marks the beginning of a new era for employee wellbeing. Colbe positions itself as the work wellbeing network and forms a European network that combines specialist knowledge, digital technology and human connection in one integrated approach to work and wellbeing. Organizations working according to the new approach see, among other things, a marked decrease in absenteeism, stronger teams and higher engagement.
The traditional approach to employee wellness is often fragmented: a loose coaching program here, a vitality program there. Work is mostly reactive and sustainable improvement fails to materialize. Colbe breaks through this approach with a network model that brings people, data and expertise together. The approach is based on four pillars: holistic thinking, the link between individual and collective, continuous progress, and long-term support.
"Work plays a crucial role in how we feel, develop and connect," said Bas Tomassen, CEO of Colbe. "But in an increasingly complex and individualistic world, people are losing connection. Colbe helps organizations make work a place again where people feel at home, thrive and contribute to something bigger than themselves. This reaps rewards on a personal level, but therefore also on a corporate level, and therefore on society as a whole."
Cohesive approach
Colbe provides services at three levels of work-related well-being. First, absenteeism guidance, from health & safety services to reintegration in complex cases, with a focus on sustainable return to work. Secondly, 'employee assistance services', such as mental & medical interventions, coaching, workplace adaptation & career development for employees in every stage of life. And third, corporate wellbeing, including strategic support for culture change, leadership development and building resilient, healthy organizations.
TrueTribe: technology that makes well-being tangible
A key foundation of Colbe is TrueTribe, the network's digital operating platform. TrueTribe makes well-being at work measurable, predictable and personal. With the platform, companies gain insights based on data that are translated into practical steps. This allows companies to digitize services services and take targeted action based on insights to keep their staff healthy and motivated "With TrueTribe, we turn data into meaningful insights," says Mayke Nagtegaal, CEO of TrueTribe. "This allows organizations to spot in time what teams need, and take concrete steps that make a real difference - from individual coaching to collective team interventions."
From the Netherlands to Europe
The name change is more than a symbolic step: with it, Colbe is also shaping its international ambition. Throughout Europe, there is a growing need for coherent strategies for employee welfare that also tie in with the various new forms of work. Colbe wants to play a pioneering role not only in the Netherlands, but also in Europe.
Tomassen: "I believe in the power of the network, our vision and the movement we are setting in motion. We are already seeing the first results of this by, for example, declining Sickness Absence at the organizations that work with us. We want to expand this further in the Netherlands and countries around us."
