Enrise on the caring support provided by ZekerArbo

Rita Heinen of Enrise talks about her experiences with ZekerArbo:

“At the end of 2021, we were looking for a Occupational Health Service that would, above all, ensure continuity in the support provided to our sick colleagues. We had previously found that frequent changes in case managers do not benefit the quality of care and cause unnecessary additional anxiety and uncertainty. We decided to partner with ZekerArbo (then known as Zorg van de Zaak MKB) and began the partnership in January 2022.”

Rita says: “From the very beginning, we’ve found our collaboration with ZekerArbo to be exceptionally pleasant. Our dedicated employability coach has shown a strong commitment to Enrise and our employees right from the start. For example, she visited our office in person to get to know the company and our colleagues.”

In our day-to-day collaboration, we also find her to be very approachable and knowledgeable. She is easy to reach by phone and email, has an excellent understanding of the laws and regulations governing the “ Sickness Absence ” and the “ Wet verbetering poortwachter ,” and provides us with expert advice when needed. She thinks along with us, supports us with advice and assistance, and relieves us of many concerns and tasks.

Our colleagues who are on sick leave also find the support provided by ZekerArbo to be helpful. They view both the support from the POB staff and their interactions with the company physicians positively. We believe this is important: in our view, effective sick leave support is not just about following rules and procedures, but above all about providing personal attention and effective guidance to the employee.

In our more than 25 years in business, we encountered our first WIA application in July for a colleague who has been on long-term sick leave. We had no idea exactly what to expect. How should we handle such an application? Which forms and documents do we need to fill out? And did we do everything correctly and document it properly in the lead-up to this?

Rita: Of course, we wanted to avoid making a mistake that would have negative consequences for our sick colleague or for Enrise. To be honest, that caused us some stress and even some sleepless nights. So at one point, we decided to do just one thing: we contacted Fadime and said:

“Fadime, help—we need your help!”

We explained our situation to her and asked if she could help us fill out the WIA application. We wanted to make sure we did everything correctly and completely.

Her reaction was exactly what we've come to expect from her: she helped us.

Fadime came to the Enrise office and helped us fill out the form and go over everything. She took the time to answer our questions, provided explanations when needed, and helped us make sure that all the necessary information and documents were included.

That was incredibly valuable to us.

Not only because it assured us that we had filled out the application carefully and correctly, but mainly because it gave us such peace of mind—both for our sick colleague and for us as the employer.

It’s at moments like these that you realize what good absenteeism support really means. It’s not just about knowing the laws and regulations or following procedures correctly. It’s also about having someone by your side when you’re not sure what to do. Someone who says, “Come on, let’s do this together.”

And that’s exactly how we experience our collaboration with ZekerArbo . They’re knowledgeable, dedicated, personal, and always willing to help.

We are therefore very pleased that we made the switch to ZekerArbo in 2022. The personal approach and direct communication make a big difference to us. We know that if we have any questions or concerns, we can call and there will be someone there to work with us to find a solution.
