Interview with Stephan Meester about ZekerArbo
In VVP Online magazine, Stephan Meester shares his views on the name change from Zorg van de Zaak MKB and V&V to ZekerArbo.
VVP Online: With a nationwide network, 250 employees and some 42,000 SMEs as customers, the organization was already solid. What has changed is the sharper focus on the needs of SMEs, explains sales manager Stephan Meester. "We want to offer SMEs a fixed point of contact in the field of prevention, well-being and Sickness Absence."
Because a small SME has very different questions than a multinational company. "If in a company with ten employees someone falls ill, the entrepreneur immediately loses ten percent of his staff. So it is important that such an entrepreneur be helped quickly. A large company has very different needs."
Customer number one
Naturally, ZekerArbo will remain in discussions with insurers, but the customer and his needs are number one, says Meester. "For example, entrepreneurs can very easily come to us for advice. Whether it concerns stress, debt relief, lifestyle or a confidant: we can provide it, thanks to our network."
ZekerArbo is part of the Zorg van de Zaak occupational health network, which also includes intervention companies and training and consulting firms. Meester: "Thanks to the short lines between us, we can make the difference. For example, an entrepreneur or employer can always call his employability coach about how to handle a situation."
This is how we go from working together to collaborating!
hassle-free extra steps
The purchase of services is organized flexibly. ZekerArbo works with almost all proxies in the Netherlands. Meester: "Whether an insurance intermediary cooperates directly with an insurer or through the proxy channel, in all cases the customer can quickly receive our occupational health and vitality solutions. hassle-free or extra steps."
Merge sales channels
To make the organization even more decisive, ZekerArbo is merging its sales channels. "The proxy and insurers channel will come together organizationally under one roof with the channel that does business directly with SMEs. This makes our work more efficient and offers the customer even more flexibility.
"Through collaboration with insurers, many of our interventions and preventive services are reimbursed. This allows us to optimally serve clients in the triangle: insurer, consultant and Occupational Health Service . A good example is the well-known VOVSickness Absence Relief Insurance), extended with additional preventive services.
"This is how we go from working together to working together! And of course, in this way we hope to establish great new partnerships with insurers, proxies and insurance brokers."
