At ZekerArbo , several experts work together to prevent and guide Sickness Absence in your organization. Everyone has a clear role in this:
The occupational health practice assistant (POB).
Our POBs are accessible and fast links in the absence process. They support the company doctor by taking partial tasks off their hands, so that the company doctor has more time for complex issues and prevention. Through this cooperation we ensure an efficient approach and personal attention for employers and employees. More about the company doctor.
The employability coach
The Employability Coach is the guide for employers and executives on questions about employability and Sickness Absence.
- Supports supervisors in their role as case managers.
- Helps turn advice from the company doctor into practical steps.
- Ensures that managers are well informed and can maintain direction.

The company doctor
The company doctors of Zorg van de Zaak are certified professionals who combine their medical knowledge with insight into business processes. From an independent position they advise employer and employee on preventing sick leave and promoting reintegration. More about the company doctor.
What is task delegation?
Tasks of the company doctor are sometimes delegated to other (para)medical professionals, such as (primary) physicians, doctors in training to become company doctors or practice support workers. We call this task delegation. This allows the company doctor to focus on the specialist work for which he or she has been trained.
